Our rope jam referral system - Why & how it works.

We have received some questions about our referral system, so we decided to make this writing to elaborate on it a bit further!

Why our Rope Jams are invite-only

We have decided to make our rope jams invite-only on purpose. Our goal is not to sell as many tickets as possible, but rather to create a welcoming space for our community to get together & share their love for rope. This is not a full-time job for us, but rather a passion project. Therefore, at the beginning, we decided to start out by extending invitations to our friends and acquaintances, so that we could slowly build this project without it becoming too much too fast. After all, Knot Here is still very new, and we are learning as we go.

Because we would love for the community to grow organically, we are now slowly opening invitations to friends-of-friends, using this referral system. We are already studying ways to make our little community grow sustainably, and we do plan to host more events for more people in the future. For example, our workshops and Kinbaku Nights are open to everyone! 😄

How the referral system works

Have you previously attended one of our jams & know someone else who’d love to attend?

Please send us a message on Instagram or FL with the nickname & profile link of the person you’d like to refer. Once your friend gets referred by 2 different people who have attended at least one of our jams, we will send them an invitation for the next one!

Want to get invited?

Ask 2 different people you know, who have been to one of our jams, to send us a message on Instagram or FL recommending you. Once we have received 2 referrals for you, we will send you an invitation for our next jam.

If you do not yet know anyone who has attended any of our jams or we do not receive 2 messages, unfortunately we are not able to invite you at this time. You are still welcome at our events that are open to the broader public (it will say that the event is open to everyone in the description). If you have attended one of our public events and would like to attend our invite-only Rope Jams, please send us a message.
