Rules

General & etiquette
All attendees must be at least 18 years old.
Be excellent to each other. Racism, bigotry, and any other hateful behaviour or discrimination will not be tolerated.
Please leave your shoes, ego, and quarrels at the door.
Topless is allowed for all genders inside the main tying rooms (not in the hallways). Bottom underwear stays on.
Please put everything (mats, blankets, pillows, etc.) back where you found them & tidy up after yourself.
Be mindful of the neighbours. Please keep your noise levels down outside the venue and make sure to close the entrance door behind you when you come inside.
Drinks in closed bottles are allowed in the main room. Food is only allowed in the social room upstairs.
Tea, coffee, lemonade and some nibbles are provided for free in the social room. Please label your cup with a piece of tape with your name on it. Feel free to bring your own food & non-alcoholic drinks as well.
Please lower your voice in the main room and be mindful of those around you. The social room upstairs is a great place to have a chat with your friends, right next to people who are in the middle of a scene not so much.
Do not interrupt someone’s scene. Watching is allowed, but please keep your distance and save any comments/compliments for afterwards.
No alcohol & drug consumption inside the venue. If you appear clearly inebriated, we will refuse access or ask you to leave.
Our events are aimed at rope bondage. They are not play parties. Please leave your impact tools and other non-ropey toys at home.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse access to our events and/or ask you to leave if you do not follow our rules, without a refund.
If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to one of the volunteers during the jam, or send us a DM/email.
Photography
Taking pictures of your own work is allowed during jams, but make sure that you only capture consenting individuals. Be aware of potential people in the background and please make sure you only capture those who have consented to being in your photo.
Taking pictures of other people is only allowed if they have given you explicit consent to do so. This also applies if you intend to edit the photo later to blur/remove the background - you will still need to obtain permission from all the people in the photo before taking it.
Video & audio recordings are not allowed, except where permission is obtained from the organisation beforehand.
During workshops, the picture policy may vary and is determined by the teachers/organisers. The picture policy for workshops will be discussed with the participants at the start of the workshop.
Safety & use of hardpoints
Safety is important to us. Please tie within your skill level and keep your own and your partner's safety in mind. If you need help, please ask for it. If you have any concerns about safety, please do not hesitate to talk to the organisers or the people around you.
Using the suspension points during rope jams is only allowed after receiving permission from the organisers. Please check with us at the beginning of the jam if you would like to use a point. We will ask you some questions about your experience and will provide you with a bracelet to show you are allowed to use the suspension points. Bracelets must be returned to us at the end of the jam.
The use of the suspension points is ultimately at your own risk. Please use them responsibly and take care of your own & your partner’s safety.
If you are trying out things you aren’t fully familiar or confident with yet, we recommend asking someone to spot you.
The use of neck ropes is only allowed when they are not tied off but held in hand.
Please avoid full suspensions with only a single upline wherever possible. Especially in inversions, where a line break could seriously injure the person getting tied.
You are allowed to adjust the height of the bamboos using your own carabiners & slings. Please do not retie the rope on the bamboos.
