Where: Knot Here Amsterdam

Our location is a 5 minute walk from Weesp train station, the exact address will be listed on the ticket PDF.

Our gorgeous rope space is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building. It has a big open space with 12 suspension points (bamboos), and plenty of space for floorwork. Blankets, cushions and yoga mats are available to use. There is a separate social room on the top floor (the yoga wall with rings in this room can also be used for rope), as well as a changing room where you can leave your coat, shoes & bags. There is a toilet on each floor. Unfortunately, there is no elevator and access to the space is only via stairs. Parking near the venue is paid until 17:00 on Saturdays, and free after that.

Price: €20 per ticket - click here to buy

A limited number of discounted tickets is available for those who cannot pay full price. Please DM us to receive this "Pay it forward" discount.

Asiana & Door

Asiana is a rope top, teacher, performer, and event organiser. She is the founder of RopeLounge and has been teaching shibari for over 10 years in Amsterdam and abroad. The aesthetics and Japanese approach to tying have a great appeal to her. She likes a more challenging way of tying and enjoys seeing her partners suffer in her ropes.

Door is a kinbaku model, performer, and blogger. A self-proclaimed submissive, feminist, masochist, and toy, she is drawn to rope because of its intensity, sensuality, connection, D/s, suffering, beauty and eroticism.

Together, they will provide the audience with a demo, during which Asiana will share her thoughts and provide some insights into why she makes certain decisions while she ties Door. At the end of the demo, there will be the possibility to ask questions.

Knot Here Venue Rules

  • Be excellent to each other.

  • Please leave your shoes, ego, and quarrels at the door.

  • Topless is allowed for all genders. Bottom underwear stays on.

  • Please put everything (mats, blankets, pillows, etc.) back where you found them & tidy up after yourself.

  • Be mindful of the neighbours. Please keep your noise levels down outside the venue and make sure to close the entrance door behind you when you come inside.

  • Safety is important to us. Please tie within your skill level and keep your own and your partner's safety in mind. If you need help, please ask for it. If you have any concerns about safety, please do not hesitate to talk to the organisers or the people around you.

  • Using the suspension points is only allowed after receiving permission from @tasteofdinner or @sarahcalanthe. Please check with us at the beginning of the jam if you would like to use a point. We might ask you some questions about your experience and will provide you with a bracelet to show you are allowed to use the suspension points. Bracelets must be returned to us at the end of the jam.

  • If you are trying out things you aren’t fully familiar or confident with yet, you can always ask someone to spot you.

  • Drinks in closed bottles are allowed in the main room. Food is only allowed in the social room upstairs.

  • Please lower your voice in the main room and be mindful of those around you. The social room upstairs is a great place to have a chat with your friends, right next to people who are in the middle of a scene not so much.

  • No alcohol & drug consumption inside the venue. If you appear clearly inebriated, we may refuse access or ask you to leave.

  • Taking pictures is not allowed during performances. Taking pictures is allowed during jams and workshops, but make sure that you only capture consenting individuals. Be aware of potential people in the background - not everyone is comfortable with having a camera pointed in their direction.
